Diamonds Are Forever (Cover Version of Shirley Bassey)

Diamond Are Forever ....

Diamond are forever and love this movie very much.  It inspired me so much till I love all James Bond's movies and the job MI5 was attracted to me.  I did applied but failed to get through even the first round because of my current citizenship.

Diamonds Are Forever is the soundtrack by John Barry for the seventh James Bond film of the same name.

"Diamonds Are Forever", the title song with lyrics by Don Black, was the second Bond theme to be performed by Shirley Bassey, after "Goldfinger". The song was also recorded in Italian by Bassey as "Una Cascata di Diamanti (Vivo Di Diamanti)"; this version was only issued on 7-inch single in Italy, and was intended to be included in a (cancelled) 3-CD box set titled Shirley released in 2012.[2]

Producer Harry Saltzman hated the song and it only made the film due to co-producer Albert Broccoli. One of Saltzman's major objections was to the innuendo in the lyrics.[citation needed] Bassey would later return for a third performance for 1979's Moonraker.

In 2000, Bassey was made a Dame by Queen Elizabeth II for services to the performing arts. In 1977 she received the Brit Award for Best British Female Solo Artist in the previous 25 years.[5] Bassey has been called "one of the most popular female vocalists in Britain during the last half of the 20th century."[2][6][7]

Lyrics

Diamonds are forever
They are all I need to please me
They can stimulate and tease me
They won't leave in the night
I've no fear that they might desert me

Diamonds are forever
Hold one up and then caress it
Touch it, stroke it and undress it
I can see every part
Nothing hides in the heart to hurt me

I don't need love
For what good will love do me?
Diamonds never lie to me
For when love's gone
They'll luster on

Diamonds are forever
Sparkling round my little finger
Unlike men, the diamonds linger
Men are mere mortals who
Are not worth going to your grave for

I don't need love
For what good will love do me?
Diamonds never lie to me
For when love's gone
They'll luster on

Diamonds are forever, forever, forever
Diamonds are forever, forever, forever
Forever and ever

A simple touch of your hand,

And everything is right.

The gentle way you look at me,

When we kiss goodnight.

You've given me the freedom no other love has known

And now I thank you girl , thank you girl

The countless ways you've touched my heart

Is more than I can say

The beauty that you've shown to me

Takes my breath away

A picture perfect painting, that's what our love is

And yes I need you so, and now I know

[Chorus:]

Ooooh

I've found a masterpiece in you

A work of art it's true

And I treasure you my love

Ooooh

I've found a masterpiece in you

A work of art it's true

And I treasure you

Sometimes I wonder what I'd be

Had I not found you

A least and lonely soul this world

Could show me nothing new

But now my life's a canvas

Painted with your love

And it will always be

And now I see

The gentle walks together

Through time will never pass

This fairy tale we shared

Is real inside our hearts

Let it be forever

Never let it end

This promise I can make

Heaven is ours to take

[Chorus]

When I'm lost and insecure

You build me up and make me sure

That everything will be alright

My love

[Chorus]

(This fairy tale we're sharing

Is real inside our hearts

Let it be forever

Never let it end)

When You Say Nothing at All (Cover Version of Ronan Keating)

When You Say Nothing at All ....

A new type of songs I am learning and in order to keep up with the Jones, I have to adapt new style of singing and also knowing the current new trend of the youth new taste of sound.  Ronan Keating is one of the new singer I like to listen.  I do enjoy his style of singing and nice composition too.

"When You Say Nothing at All" is a country song written by Paul Overstreet and Don Schlitz. It is among the best-known hit songs for three different performers: Keith Whitley, who took it to the top of the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart on December 24, 1988; Alison Krauss, whose version was her first solo top-10 country hit in 1995; and Irish pop singer Ronan Keating, whose version was his first solo single and a chart-topper in the United Kingdom and Ireland in 1999.

It peaked at number one in the UK, Ireland, and New Zealand. In the UK, the single was certified gold. In 2003, Keating re-recorded the song as a duet with Mexican singer Paulina Rubio, which was released in Mexico and Latin America (excluding Brazil) to promote Keating's second studio album, Destination. In Brazil, Ronan chose the Brazilian singer Deborah Blando to re-record the song for the 10 Years Of Hits album exclusive for that country (an exclusive music video was recorded for this version with Deborah).[citation needed]

Lyrics

It's amazing how you can speak right to my heart
Without saying a word, you can light up the dark
Try as I may, I can never explain
What I hear when you don't say a thing

The smile on your face lets me know that you need me
There's a truth in your eyes saying you'll never leave me
The touch of your hand says you'll catch me wherever I fall
You say it best (say it best)
When you say nothing at all

All day long, I can hear people talking out loud
But when you hold me near, you drown out the crowd
Try as they may, they could never define
What's been said between your heart and mine

The smile on your face lets me know that you need me
There's a truth in your eyes saying you'll never leave me
The touch of your hand says you'll catch me wherever I fall
You say it best (say it best)
When you say nothing at all

Oh
The smile on your face lets me know that you need me
There's a truth in your eyes saying you'll never leave me
The touch of your hand says you'll catch me wherever I fall
You say it best (say it best)
When you say nothing at all

(You say it best when you say nothing at all
You say it best when you say nothing at all)

That smile on your face
The truth in your eyes
The touch of your hand
Lets me know that you need me
(You say it best when you say nothing at all
You say it best when you say nothing at all)

How Deep Is Your Love (Cover Version of Bee Gees)

How Deep Is Your Love ...

So many months absent singing any of the song from Musical Talented Group Bee Gees.  This is the song tribute to Maurice Gibbs, Robin Gibbs, Andy Gibbs and also Barry Gibbs.  These talented brothers are gifted talents from previous lives and I am proud of them bring us those beautiful melodies and music to our lives.

"How Deep Is Your Love" is a pop ballad written and recorded by the Bee Gees in 1977 and released as a single in September. It was ultimately used as part of the soundtrack to the film Saturday Night Fever. It was a number three hit in the United Kingdom and Australia. In the United States, it topped the Billboard Hot 100 on 24 December 1977 (becoming the first of six consecutive US number-one hits) and stayed in the Top 10 for a then-record 17 weeks. The single spent six weeks atop the US adult contemporary chart. It is listed at number 22 on the 55th anniversary edition of Billboard's All Time Top 100.[1] Alongside "Stayin' Alive" and "Night Fever", it is one of the group's three tracks on the list. The song was covered by Take That for their 1996 Greatest Hits album, reaching number-one on the UK Singles Chart for three weeks.[2]

The song was covered by Take That for their 1996 Greatest Hits album, reaching number-one on the UK Singles Chart for three weeks.[2]

"How Deep Is Your Love" ranked number 375 on Rolling Stone's list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. In a British TV special shown in December 2011, it was voted "The Nation's Favourite Bee Gees Song" by ITV viewers.[3] The song set a record by accumulating 33 weeks in one chart run. It was originally intended for Yvonne Elliman, but she later recorded "If I Can't Have You" instead.[4]

During the Bee Gees' 2001 Billboard magazine interview, Barry reportedly said that "How Deep Is Your Love" was his favorite Bee Gees song.[5]
Besides being used in Saturday Night Fever, the song has also been featured in other films such as Donnie Brasco, Ready to Rumble, Forever Fever, Tongan Ninja, Anger Management, Adam's Apples, Disco, and Sex and the City. It's also used in television shows such as Get a Life, Ballykissangel, Marienhof, You Are The One, Two Faces, Nip/Truck, The Simpsons, and Parenthood.

Ah

I know your eyes in the morning sun
I feel you touch me in the pouring rain
And the moment that you wander far from me
I want to feel you in my arms again

And you come to me on a summer breeze
Keep me warm in your love, then you softly leave
And it's me you need to show

How deep is your love?
How deep is your love? How deep is your love?
I really need to learn
'Cause we're living in a world of fools
Breaking us down
When they all should let us be
We belong to you and me

I believe in you
You know the door to my very soul
You're the light in my deepest, darkest hour
You're my savior when I fall

And you may not think I care for you
When you know down inside that I really do
And it's me you need to show

How deep is your love?
How deep is your love? How deep is your love?
I really need to learn
'Cause we're living in a world of fools
Breaking us down
When they all should let us be
We belong to you and me

Da da da da da
Da da da da da da da da da
Da da da da da da da da da
Da da da da da da da

And you come to me on a summer breeze
Keep me warm in your love, then you softly leave
And it's me you need to show

How deep is your love?
How deep is your love? How deep is your love?
I really need to learn
'Cause we're living in a world of fools
Breaking us down
When they all should let us be
We belong to you and me

Da da da da da

Ah
How deep is your love? How deep is your love?
