"Here I Am (Just When I Thought I Was Over You)" is the title of a popular song from 1981 (see 1981 in music) by the Australian group Air Supply. It was written by Michael Masser, Norman Sallitt, Linda Creed and included on the group's album The One That You Love.

To prevent confusion, the song was originally released as "Here I Am (Just When I Thought I Was Over You)" so as not to be confused by the group's No. 1 hit song "The One That You Love" which contains the lyrics: "Here I am, the one that you love."

Released as a single in the fall of 1981, "Here I Am (Just When I Thought I Was Over You)" peaked at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in November of that year, remaining in the Top 40 for 15 weeks.[1] The song also spent three weeks atop the Billboard adult contemporary chart.[2]

Lead vocals on "Here I Am (Just When I Thought I Was Over You)" were performed by the two vocalists in the group, Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock.

Here I am, playing with those memories again
And just when I thought time had set me free
Those thoughts of you keep taunting me
Holding you, a feeling I never outgrew
Though each and every part of me has tried
Only you can fill that space inside
So there's no sense pretending
My heart it's not mending

Just when I thought I was over you
And just when I thought I could stand on my own
Oh baby, those memories come crashing through
And I just can't go on without you

On my own, I've tried to make the best of it alone
I've done everything I can to ease the pain
But only you can stop the rain
I just can't live without you
I miss everything about you

Just when I thought I was over you
And just when I thought I could stand on my own
Oh baby, those memories come crashing through
And I just can't go on without, go on without

Yes, just go on without you
(Just when I thought I was over you)
Without you
(And just when I thought I could stand on my own)
Without you
(Just when I thought I was over you)
Without you
(And just when I thought I could stand on my own)

Without you
(Just when I thought I was over you)
Without you
(And just when I thought I could stand on my own)
Without you
(Just when I thought I was over you)
(Fade)

Suddenly

One of the song I used to sing many times and here the song I recorded first time.  Suddenly this song came back to my life.

Suddenly, life has new meaning to me
There's beauty up above
And things we never take notice of
You wake up, and suddenly you're in love

201409190530-00215 Suddenly

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"Suddenly" is a popular song from 1985 written and performed by the Trinidadian-born, British-based pop music singer Billy Ocean. It is the title track to the singer's 1984 breakthrough album, which was produced by Keith Diamond.

Released as the third single from the album (following the success of "Caribbean Queen" and "Loverboy"), the ballad, "Suddenly", reached the top five on the UK Singles Chart in mid-1985, peaking at number four.[1] The song reached the same chart peak on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the US, spending two weeks at number four in June of that year.[2] It peaked at number five on the Billboard R&B chart and spent two weeks at number one on the Billboard adult contemporary chart.[3]

I used to think that love was just a fairy tale
Until that first hello, until that first smile
But if i had to do it all again
I wouldn't change a thing
'Cause this love is everlasting

Suddenly, life has new meaning to me
There's beauty up above,
And things we never take notice of
You wake up, and suddenly you're in love

Ooh yeah

Girl you're everything a man could want and more
One thousand words are not enough
To say what I feel inside
Holding hands as we walk along the shore
Never felt like this before,
Now you're all I'm living for

Suddenly, life has new meaning to me
There's beauty up above
And things we never take notice of
You wake up, and suddenly you're in love

Each day I pray, this love affair would last forever
Oh hoh
Suddenly, Life has new meaning to me
There's beauty up above,
And things we never take notice of
You wake up, suddenly you're in love

Ooh
There's beauty up above,
And things we never take notice of
You wake up, suddenly you're in love
Ooh...

She Believe In Me (Cover Version of Kenny Rogers)

She Believe In Me ...

Even the bloody titanic ship had sunk, I do enjoy my life very much with the Australian xFactor 2016.  I managed passed through round #1 and #2 and failed miserable in round #3 (Stage 2) before the bootcamp (Stage 3).  I only made it to the stage to meet all the judges, Guy Sebastian , Iggy Azalea , and Adam Lambert. There were three NOs as I was lost in the dance on the song Copacabana and given about 2 weeks to sing this song as they prefer faster beat song.  I did learned up my dance move on my own and had a great wonderful time on filming at Sydney. My coordination went KAPUT.  I did not practise both singing and dance at the same time.  So this is one of the reason some of my pronunciation went kaput and will be screen on TV7 in Australia very soon.  So I am not sure if I should come back again as the problems is they select the song they want and it can be very damaging to us.  Many failed because of this main reason as I met a few of them similar situation as me.

There are five stages to the competition:

  • Stage 1: Open auditions[15] (these auditions decide who will sing in front of the judges)
  • Stage 2: Judges' auditions
  • Stage 3: Bootcamp
  • Stage 4: Super home visits
  • Stage 5: Live shows (finals)

 She Believe In Me

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"She Believes In Me" is a song recorded by American country music singer Kenny Rogers. It was released in April 1979 as the second single from his album The Gambler. The song was written and first recorded by Steve Gibb (not the Steve Gibb who is the son of Barry Gibb) and is the tale of a songwriter who has a beloved who supports him, although he sometimes wonders why.

Rogers was reaching the peak of his career at this time, and "She Believes In Me" became one of his biggest crossover hits in the late spring of 1979, reaching number one on the Billboard Country Singles chart.[1] "She Believes in Me" also peaked at number five on the Billboard Hot 100 pop singles chart, and number one on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart.[2] It was also a minor pop hit in Great Britain reaching number 42.[3]

The melody of the chorus also somewhat resembles the chorus of "Lost Without Your Love" by soft rock band Bread (released in 1976), with the chords and structure having some similar properties.

While she lays sleeping
I stay out late at night and play my songs
And sometimes, all the nights can be so long
And it's good when I finally make it home
All alone

While she lays dreaming
I try to get undressed without the light
And quietly she says, "How was your night?"
And I come to her and say, "It was all right"
And I hold her tight

And she believes in me
I'll never know just what she sees in me
I told her someday, if she was my girl
I could change the world with my little songs
I was wrong

But she has faith in me
And so I go on trying faithfully
And who knows maybe, on some special night
If my song is right, I will find a way
Find a way

While she lays waiting
I stumble to the kitchen for a bite
Then I see my old guitar in the night
Just waiting for me like a secret friend
And there's no end

While she lays crying
I fumble with a melody or two
And I'm torn between the things that I should do
And she says to wake her up when I am through
God, her love is true

And she believes in me
I'll never know just what she sees in me
I told her someday, if she was my girl
I could change the world with my little songs
I was wrong

But she has faith in me
And so I go on trying faithfully
And who knows maybe, on some special night
If my song is right, I will find a way
While she waits, while she waits for me

A View to a Kill (Cover Version of Duran Duran)

A View to a Kill ...

This is a stand-alone single created for the James Bond movie A View to a Kill. It remains the only James Bond theme song to have reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100; it also made it to #2 on the UK Singles Chart and #6 in Australia.
The song was written by Duran Duran and John Barry, and recorded at Maison Rouge Studio and CTS Studio in London with a 60-piece orchestra.
Duran Duran were chosen to do the song after bassist John Taylor (a lifelong Bond fan) approached producer Cubby Broccoli at a party, and somewhat drunkenly asked "When are you going to get someone decent to do one of your theme songs?"[1][2] This inauspicious beginning led to some serious talks, and the band was introduced to Bond composer John Barry, and also Jonathan Elias (whom Duran Duran members would later work with many times). An early writing meeting at Taylor's flat in Knightsbridge led to everyone getting drunk instead of composing.[3]

Le Bon said, of Barry: "He didn't really come up with any of the basic musical ideas. He heard what we came up with and he put them into an order. And that's why it happened so quickly because he was able to separate the good ideas from the bad ones, and he arranged them. He has a great way of working brilliant chord arrangements. He was working with us as virtually a sixth member of the group, but not really getting on our backs at all."[4]

The song was finally completed in April, and was released worldwide in May.
This song was the subject of criticism from singer Pat Boone when it was performed at Live Aid in 1985. Although Duran Duran donated their time in this historic fundraising effort for African famine relief (like every other artist on the bill), Boone commented that if singing lyrics like "Dance into the fire" were the only way to raise money and awareness of this issue, then maybe it was not worth it.

In 1986, John Barry and Duran Duran were nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song for "A View to a Kill".
The song was the last track that the original five members of Duran Duran recorded together until their reunion sixteen years later, in 2001. It was played at their final 1985 performance together, at Live Aid in Philadelphia.

"A View to a Kill" is the thirteenth single by the English new wave band Duran Duran, released on 6 May 1985. Written and recorded as the theme for the 1985 James Bond movie of the same name, it became one of the band's biggest hits. It remains the only James Bond theme song to have reached number 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100; it also made it to number 2 for three weeks on the UK Singles Chart.[1][2]

In 1986, composer John Barry and Duran Duran were nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song for "A View to a Kill". The song was the last track recorded by the most famous five member lineup of Duran Duran until their 2001 reunion. It was performed by the band at Live Aid in Philadelphia, their final performance together before their first split. Following Barry's death, the band paid tribute as their encore at the 2011 Coachella Festival, Simon Le Bon reappearing in a tuxedo for a pared-down version backed by an orchestra, before launching into the full, upbeat track. Bassist John Taylor told the crowd: "We lost a dear friend of ours this year – English composer John Barry. This is for him."

Lyrics

Meeting you, with a view to a kill
Face to face in secret places, feel the chill.
Nightfall covers me, but you know the plans I'm making,
Still oversea, could it be the whole earth opening wide
A sacred why, a mystery gaping inside
who weekends why

Until we dance into the fire
That fatal kiss is all we need
Dance into the fire,
To fatal sounds of broken dreams
Dance into the fire,
That fatal kiss is all we need
Dance into the fire.....

Choice for you, is the view to a kill
Between the shades assassination standing still.
First crystal tears, fall of snowflakes on your body
First time in years, to drench your skin with lovers, rosy stain
A chance to find a phoenix for the flame,
A chance to die...

but can we dance into the fire
That fatal kiss is all we need
Dance into the fire
Two fatal sounds of broken dreams
Dance into the fire
That fatal kiss is all we need
Dance into the fire
When all we see.. is the view to a kill
