Come What May (Cover Version of air Supply)

Come What May   ...

This funny song really strange and tricky. After few times attempts, I did this recording with some confidence. Come What May as it says don't take things too seriously. So these Air Supply's songs did brought me closer to down under and spend more time with Koala bears and Kangaroos. I felt a step closer to my dreams and felt been re-born again with seagulls and white ibis again. I love Australia and there is no doubt about it. I love the people here and look forward to move closer to my dream, my childhood dream. Will write more tomorrow. I am really excited and had been iron-man-ed up my life.

"Come What May" is a 1982 song recorded by the Australian soft rock group Air Supply. I love to sing this song.  As you can see, the beautiful written lyrics.  Unfortunately I have missed some of the love boat and still wonder who would be the lady I should direct this song to!  Anyway I did not find any write up on this song and I just write something here.
When she looks at me
I know the girl sees things
Nobody else can see
All of the secret fears inside
And all the craziness I hide
She looks into my soul
And reads me like nobody can
And she doesn't judge the man
She just takes me as I am

Come what may, she believes
And that faith is something
I've never known before
Come what may, she loves me
And that love has helped me open a door
Making me love myself a little more

When I turn away
She knows those are the times
There's nothing she can say
Nothing that anyone can do
And so she lets me live it through
And when I'm in my darkest hour of uncertainty
She just simply lets me be
And goes right on loving me

Come what may, she believes
And that faith is something
I've never known before
Come what may, she loves me
And that love has helped me open a door
Making me love myself a little more, oh

And when it seems my dreams
Have all slipped through my fingers
When they just can't be found
I turn around and there they are
Shining in her eyes (Shining in her eyes)

Come what may, she believes
And that faith is something
I've never known before
Come what may, she loves me
And that love has helped me open a door
Making me love myself a little more

Come what may, she believes
And that faith is something
I've never known before
Come what may, she loves me
And that love has helped me open a door

Lost In Love (Cover Version of Air Supply)

Lost In Love   ...

1st attempt to record it even I had sang this song a few hundred times when I was a teenager. This is one of song I can play with guitar and often sang this song in the toilet too. While I was singing this song and was enjoying myself, the bloody alarm interrupted the recording and I was really PISSED off with that. So I recorded it as it show how much frustration if you lost in love too. LOL.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"Lost in Love" is a 1980 song recorded by the Australian soft rock group Air Supply. The song was written by group member Graham Russell. The original version of the song appeared on the Life Support album in 1979 and was released as a single in Australia, reaching #13 on the Kent Music Report. The group re-recorded the song for the album Lost In Love in 1980 and this version was released as a single in the US reaching #3 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Air Supply's popularity in their native country during the mid to late 1970s had not been matched elsewhere. Russell travelled to England in 1979, and while there, discovered that the group's Australian record label Big Time Records had sold "Lost in Love" to Arista Records in the United States for distribution. Soon thereafter, their song became a hit on the music charts in the U.S.[1] The song spent four weeks at number three on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in May 1980 and topped the Billboard adult contemporary chart for six weeks that same year.[2]
This song was featured in an episode of Family Guy, "Emission Impossible", and the Australian film Hotel de Love.

I realize the best part of love is the thinnest slice
And you don't care for much but I'm not letting go
I believe there's still much to believe in

So lift your eyes if you feel you can
Reach for a star and I'll show you a plan
I've figured it out what I needed was someone to show me

You know you can't fool me
I've been lovin' you too long
It started so easy, you'll want to carry on (Carry on)

Lost in love and I don't know much
'Cause I'm thinkin' aloud and I fell out of touch
But I'm back on my feet and eager to be what you wanted

So lift your eyes if you feel you can
Reach for a star and I'll show you a plan
I've figured it out what I needed was someone to show me

You know you can't fool me
I've been lovin' you too long
It started so easy, you'll want to carry on (Carry on)

Lost in love and I don't know much
'Cause I'm thinkin' aloud and I fell out of touch
But I'm back on my feet and eager to be what you wanted

(Instrumental)

You know you can't fool me
I've been lovin' you too long
It started so easy, you'll want to carry on
(Carry on)

Lost in love and I don't know much
'Cause I'm thinkin' aloud and I fell out of touch
But I'm back on my feet and eager to be what you wanted

Now I'm lost (Lost in love and I don't know much)
Lost in love ('Cause I'm thinkin' aloud and I fell out of touch)
Lost in love (But I'm back on my feet and eager to be)
Lost in love (What you wanted)

Now I'm lost (Lost in love and I don't know much)
I'm lost in love ('Cause I'm thinkin' aloud and I fell out of touch)
Oh, I'm lost in love (But I'm back on my feet and eager to be)
Lost in love (What you wanted)

Lost in love and I don't know much
(Fade)

When You Tell Me That You Love Me (Cover Version of Diana Ross)

When You Tell Me That You Love Me

I remembered vividly how Diana Ross take care of our late beloved Michael Jackson when he was a kid. This is how I came to know her. Apart from that, it is also from the song Endless Love song which she did a duet with Lionel Richie. I always sing this song in the bathroom and toilet in both roles!!! As for this song. it is part of my life and naturally I will sing it in the style of Diana Ross. Her voice is dearly to me too. SO brace yourself now listening to my karaoke version which would be second part of this video.

When You Tell Me That You Love Me

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"When You Tell Me That You Love Me" is a 1991 song released as a single by American soul singer Diana Ross. The song was subsequently covered by various artists.

"When You Tell Me That You Love Me" was the lead single from Diana Ross's 1991 album The Force Behind the Power released on the Motown label in the US and by EMI in the UK. The song, a sentimental ballad, was the album's biggest hit, peaking at number thirty-seven on the US Billboard R&B singles chart while peaking at number-two on the UK Singles Chart. Ross considers it one of her signature songs.[1] The UK release included her 1985 hit "Chain Reaction."[2]

It missed the UK Christmas number one spot for 1991 by a couple hundred units, beaten out by the re-release of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" commemorating the passing of lead singer, Freddie Mercury. The single was awarded a Silver Disc for UK sales exceeding 200,000 copies.

I wanna call the stars down from the sky
I wanna live a day that never dies
I wanna change the world only for you
All the impossible I wanna do

I wanna hold you close under the rain
I wanna kiss your smile and feel the pain
I know what's beautiful looking at you
In a world of lies you are the truth

And baby every time you touch me I become a hero
I'll make you safe no matter where you are
And bring you everything you ask for nothing is above me
I'm shining like a candle in the dark when you tell me that you love me

I wanna make you see just what I was
Show you the loneliness and what it does
You walked into my life to stop my tears
Everything's easy now I have you here

And baby every time you touch me I become a hero
I'll make you safe no matter where you are
And bring you everything you ask for nothing is above me
I'm shining like a candle in the dark when you tell me that you love me

In a world without you, I would always hunger
All I need is your love to make me stronger

And baby every time you touch me I become a hero
I'll make you safe no matter where you are
And bring you everything you ask for nothing is above me
I'm shining like a candle in the dark when you tell me that you love me
You love me, when you tell me that you love me

When I was a student in the secondary school, I don't have the BALL to sing this song. I was shamed to sing song like this. I had been thrown out once on the stage when sing a song titled "Physical" from Olivia Newton-John Now I have THICK FACES like those crocodile and not shame anymore to sing song like this. Anyway this song would be like this

All last night we lay in bed making love
I never felt so much before with anyone
Never had to say a word

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In 1981, Air Supply released The One That You Love, produced by Russell, David Foster and Harry Maslin with the title track issued as a single which went to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.[6] It also featured two other Top 5 hits, "Here I Am (Just When I Thought I Was Over You)" and "Sweet Dreams". A fourth single, "I'll Never Get Enough" was released in Japan and achieved Top 10 status. By the recording for this album, Barker left and was replaced by David Green. Also, previous Air Supply guitarist Rex Goh returned for the album, co-writing "I'll Never Get Enough" with Russell.

Russell and Hitchcock also from time to time were relief hosts on the music program Solid Gold. It is believed that they initially filled in when Andy Gibb was a no show for an episode that they performed on. However, Gibb's "no shows" soon became more frequent, which resulted in his termination. Even though this was not their usual job, the duo made an impression on producers and the audience who enjoyed their accents, and they were asked to host every so often until the show was cancelled.

Their next album Now and Forever, released in 1982 with the same seven-piece lineup (Hitchcock, Russell, Moyse, Goh, Esler-Smith, Green and Cooper), continued the group's popularity with the Top 5 hit "Even the Nights Are Better" and two Top 40 singles, "Young Love" and "Two Less Lonely People in the World".

In 1983, they released their Greatest Hits album with a new single, "Making Love Out of Nothing at All", written by Jim Steinman. The song was one of their biggest hits ever spending three weeks at No. 2, and the album eventually sold 7 million copies.
That same year, Air Supply also released their first live video, Air Supply Live in Hawaii. In 1984, their song "I Can Wait Forever" was featured in a scene of the blockbuster movie Ghostbusters, and was included in the soundtrack album.

By the mid-1980s, Goh, Moyse, and Green had all left the lineup, and the band's 1985 self-titled album featured Don Cromwell and former Babys member Wally Stocker filling the bass and guitar roles, respectively. This album included a Top 20 Billboard hit with "Just as I Am" as well as a cover of the Jennifer Rush song "The Power of Love." The band then had a couple of minor hits ("Lonely Is the Night" and "One More Chance") from the album Hearts in Motion released in 1986.

Russell and Hitchcock recorded a 1987 Christmas Album (containing the holiday single "The Eyes of a Child") before taking a break as a band. During this time, Hitchcock released his self-titled album in 1988 which was not a big seller. However, he did have the single "Swear to Your Heart" in 1990 – from the movie soundtrack for Arachnophobia – which received significant airplay.

All last night we lay in bed making love
I never felt so much before with anyone
Never had to say a word
It was all right there
The warmth inisde us flamed and circled everywhere

And if I never have another love
Well at least I had last night
Now I know how the feeling grows
Cause you made me come alive

CHORUS
I'll never get enough, never get enough
Never get enough of you

I'll never get enough, never get enough
Never get enough of you
I only wanna give you more

Now you're gone, I'm all alone just lying here
Waiting for the moment when I'll feel you near
Never asked if you'd come back,
I was too damn proud
I just smile and touched your hair
As you went out

CHORUS

SKYFALL (Cover Version of Adele)

SKYFALL

After months of absent sing this song, I've began my training on this song again and might be one of my audition's song and it wont be in round one or two. I need to discuss with those judges first as they are the one decide what is my best song for me to present on the stage. I can only propose the songs I love to sing and from the feed back from my friends and fan. In the end, it is not exactly I decide what song I'll be presenting and perhaps Simon Cowell would have the final say on these songs!!! LOL whatever it takes, it doesnt matter as long I can take the next step closer to what's Susan Boyle had achieved. I also look forward to have a duet with Susan Boyle too. I am proud of her achievement and broke through successfully.

Skyfall.

SKYFALL

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
"Skyfall" is the theme song of the 2012 James Bond film of the same name, performed by English recording artist Adele. It was written by Adele and producer Paul Epworth and features orchestration by J. A. C. Redford. Film company Eon Productions invited the singer to work on the theme song in early 2011, a task that Adele accepted after reading the film's script. While composing the song, Adele and Epworth aimed to capture the mood and style of the other Bond themes, including dark and moody lyrics descriptive of the film's plot.

"Skyfall" was released at 0:07 BST on 5 October 2012 as part of the Global James Bond Day, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the release of Dr. No, the first James Bond film. The song quickly went to the top of the iTunes chart, and reached number two at the UK Singles Chart and eight on the Billboard Hot 100. Reviews were positive, with the song being compared to Shirley Bassey's Bond themes, and "Skyfall" became the first Bond theme to win at the Golden Globes, the Brit Awards and the Academy Awards. During the 85th Academy Awards, Adele gave her first live performance of the song.

Lyrics

This is the end
Hold your breath and count to ten
Feel the earth move and then
Hear my heart burst again

For this is the end
I've drowned and dreamt this moment
So overdue I owe them
Swept away, I'm stolen

Let the sky fall
When it crumbles
We will stand tall
Face it all together

Let the sky fall
When it crumbles
We will stand tall
Face it all together
At skyfall
At skyfall

Skyfall is where we start
A thousand miles and poles apart
Where worlds collide and days are dark
You may have my number, you can take my name
But you'll never have my heart

Let the sky fall
When it crumbles
We will stand tall
Face it all together

Let the sky fall
When it crumbles
We will stand tall
Face it all together
At skyfall

Where you go I go
What you see I see
I know I'd never be me
Without the security
Of your loving arms
Keeping me from harm
Put your hand in my hand
And we'll stand

Let the sky fall
When it crumbles
We will stand tall
Face it all together

Let the sky fall
When it crumbles
We will stand tall
Face it all together
At skyfall

Let the sky fall
We will stand tall
At skyfall
